The beautiful thing about Nelly's Saloon is that they do not try to be something that they are not. There is no salsa dancing night, they don't have over priced dishes, no silly additions that do not believe in Romanian culture. Nelly's Saloon caters to those who want to experience full Romanian culture so if that's what you're in search of then that's what you'll get.
Some of their best dishes include, Ciorba De Fasole (Bean Soup), Ciorba De Vita (Vegetable Beef Soup), Salata De Vinete (Eggplant Spread), and so on. It's a great place to go to for a lunch date with colleagues and you're sure to get some great home made Romanian food.
The food is fresh and the scene is intimate. The wine is cheap. The only issue we have is that it's smoke friendly so the stench can be horrible if that's not what you're expecting.
