Charleston
Charleston is sort of off the beaten path and that should be okay to a lot of you. The ambiance is extremely casual and if you're looking to have a good time then you're sure to have one at Charleston. The layout of Charleston is long and the cocktails are awesome. They make a delicious Manhattan and the crowd is interesting to say the least.
The ambiance is surrounded by people who are an androgynous mixture of hipsters, nerds, theater geeks, and even goth/wiccan types.The DJ ranges from standard fair to goth style and and that's okay with because we prefer a mixture of people in a bar. In general it's a mixture of 80s goth/synth/punk and it definitely makes the environment satisfying for people watching or dancing.
All in all Charleston is a solid corner bar with a great group of people. There aren't a lot of televisions which sort of forces people to socialize. They don't serve food but if you want to order some, they're more than happy to allow it.
